At Wakefield Finance we are primarily focused on asset-backed investment opportunities. Our experienced team of development managers are constantly searching for new opportunities through our established partnerships with developers, surveyors and land owners we have been able to successfully find fruitful opportunities for the last decade.
Whilst we mainly focus our efforts in the UK, with the upcoming withdrawal of the UK from the EU we took the decision in 2016 to broaden our horizons and begin searching for opportunities internationally.
Smart Property Investing
Each investment project made by Wakefield Finance is assessed against our strict investment suitability guidelines. An example of some of the requirements we have put in place are:
The 10% rule: We only purchase projects which are at least 10% below market value.
The 25% rule: All development sites must have a minimum profit mark up of 25%
We only embark on property projects once they have been valued by a members of the Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors and have met our strict criteria.
We have successfully built strong strategic partnerships that enable us to find property opportunities before they come to market.
We ensure our development sites have the all the required planning permissions before acquiring the land to begin developing.
Before we lend funds to any of our development partners we secure a fixed legal charge over their company‚Äôs assets.
